Next we have this authentic Catwoman costume for women which based on version worn by the glamorous Michelle Pfeiffer. Unlike the campy and television serious from the 60’s the 1992 Batman Returns was a dark and grim affair brought to life by the always interesting(if somewhat gloomy) mind of acclaimed director Tim Burton. It also starred Michael Keaton who reprised the role from the earlier film 1989 Batman another Burton production. In this film Pfeiffer plays Selena Kyle a mild mannered secretary who after discovering her bosses evil plots is basically killed. But because this a movie and because she really, really loves cats all the local felines come to her aid and resurrect her from the dead(the cat has nine lives thing). Unfortunately. There were a few side affects, like the fact she was now borderline insane and picked a few unsavoury feline habits including eating a canary. After getting revenge on her boss puts in Batman’s path the two become adversary’s with Catwoman teaming up with film other villain, the grotesque and disgusting Penguin. Made from PU leather it includes a bodysuit, coset, gloves, mask and whip. This authentic costume is for true Catwoman fans and although it was rated very highly you should be aware it is a hot outfit to wear, and there were some size issues, but it is definitely worth it because it is a very iconic Catwoman costume and was a big part of making superhero movies the success they are today.

The films were a no nonsense and realistic look at the world of superheroes and supervillains. In this world Catwoman is no eccentric genius with plans to take over Gotham city, rather she is Selena Kyle, low profile petty criminal and bad girl.
